12 Month Check-Up

Sophie has her 12 month/1 year check-up today. Apparently, we are tall and skinny with a large head, just like Daddy!

Our stats were (approximately):
Height is 30.75 inches which has her between the 90th and 95th percentiles
Weight is 22 pounds, 1 ounce which has her between the 50th and 75th percentiles
Head is 47.9 cm which has her between the 95th and 100th percentiles

Sophie has had a pretty bad two weeks. She has been sick the whole time and only in-and-out of daycare. She's tired of being stuck at home with Mommy or Daddy. Luckily, she went to the doctor who gave her antibiotics (again) and now she is feeling much more like her old self.

Friday. she taught herself how to play hide-and-seek (as the seeker AND the hider). Today, she discovered she was a musician! She's also come to realize that chasing kitties is a great past-time, especially when the kitties don't know they are being hunted! Suffice it to say, she is crawling pretty quickly now.
