Why maybe visiting my parents is NOT a good idea

I blame this on Hunter's exposure to Peppi Stewart, a miniature Schnauzer parented by my parents whose passions include drinking coffee, sleeping, groaning, and walking on kitchen tables to eat left-overs not yet thrown out or put away.

Happy Fasha Day

Daddy had a good father's day. He got to do his favorite activity....mowing the lawn and pruning the various hedges (not really his favorite).
He also got to spend some quality time with his Sophie, take Hunter for a nice father-son walk, and go all the way to Essex, MA and eat some yummy North Shore fried fish.
Mommy and Daddy split a combo plate and Sophie ate all of Mommy's french fries. Luckily, Mommy fed Sophie before the trip, during the trip and at the restaurant (she's quite the nosher), so Sophie did not have one bit of belly ache from all her french fries all night!

15 months old!

Sophie went for her 15 month visit today. Her stats are:
Height: 31 inchs (70-75%)
Weight: 24.9 pounds (80%)
Head Circumference: 48 cm (95%)

So, she's now perfectly proportioned with a giant head. So, that's why she photographs so well! Oh well, maybe she'll become an actress...

Sophie has been going to Gymboree for months and months now. But, now that Mommy's work schedule has changed, Sophie has to go on Fridays or Saturdays. So, today, Sophie went to a very busy Gymboree class and watched all sorts of boys and girls play. She was very busy herself, climbing up ladder-like devices, going down slides, crawling through tubes, avoiding the air log which occassionally makes her angry (she just HATES rolling that thing), popping bubbles, and taking a parachute ride.
